Hi, I'm Ranjith

I've got only good things to say about Ranjith and his wife; their communication and attention to detail was great. And they were lovely enough to give us a small gift bag with some snacks/drinks. The van is in good condition considering its age, and exactly as in the photo's & description. We managed to have a great trip in it, saw some lovely scenery, and enjoyed some nice morning/afternoon chill sessions in the back of the van with some nibbles & a drink between all the adventures. A few things which I hadn't really thought of before hiring, but that are worth considering: - its an older model, so make sure you have the time to drive at a relaxed pace, especially up hills - it doesn't have AC, so plan travel accordingly if you're trying to leave or return to Auckland through rush-hour during summer. (In saying that though, there's plenty of air-flow, the fans worked great, and we were happy as for 99% of the trip!) - I'm 5'10", and although the bed was big enough for me, it was a snug fit.

We spent 11 days in this van and it was superb. Perfect for two travellers with a great hanging space at the rear, which turns into a comfy bed. Theres a well equipped kitchen, and even a toilet (didnt need to use) and a hot shower. Would recommend for sure. Little slow on the uphills , just meant we could take in more of the north island beauty. Thanks Ranjith

This van was economical and had all the bells and whistles for freedom camping. It was well equipped with kitchen utensils, outside table and chairs and a great awning. It is an old van so it was a little slow on hills, but hey - we were on holiday! We enjoyed our trip and Ranjith was a great host.

We had a fabulous 13days in Ranjiths van.. had everything we needed.. shes an older van and takes life at a steady pace. Bed comfortable although we are both under 57 so fit perfectly!

The van was a great size for the two of us. The handover was very thorough and Ranjith answered all of our questions. We had a great time and thought the layout of the van interior was really well thought out. The solar was incredible with fast charging of phones and the lights, fridge and water heater running for the 5 days we had the van off grid. The batteries never went below 90%. All the nexessary equipment (cuterley, linen, table, chairs etc) is included as part of the hire. Would highly recommend this van and Ranjith

As first timers we enjoyed our time. The van was fine for 2 people.
