I travelled for 2 weeks with my brother and Wee Worzel was exactly what we needed. It's old and certainly has character & the usual cosmetic issues, but it really added to our experience. The ability to have so much space (i'm 6"3 and could stand easily) while still fitting in a normal car park was incredible. It's not luxury for most people's standards, but it was for us. Alex was excellent and quick to respond as well. Will be back again!!

Our trip in Big Bertha was absolutely fantastic! The camper was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for an unforgettable adventure from Queenstown to Tekapo. From stunning lake views to breathtaking mountain drives, it was everything we had hoped for and more. A huge shoutout to Alex, who was great to deal withfriendly, helpful, and made the whole process seamless. If you're looking for the perfect camper for your Queenstown getaway, Big Bertha is the way to go! Highly recommend!

We loved our time in this van! We booked this for our 2 week trip around the South Island and it was perfect. Shes an old girl so definitely goes slower but we actually really enjoyed it. Van was clean, tidy and spacious and solar worked perfectly (ignore previous review) so no need to run the van for power. Alex was easy going and great to communicate with!

Alex is a very nice person easy to get along with, but the van is very ordinary, he did tell us it had a very minor water leak, and we were fine with that, but the other issues this van has was numerous. the stove only works properly on one burner, the cupboards and interior were full of hair, we spent a day cleaning hair and grime, solar does not work, we had to run the vehicle daily to charge but because it stinks so much, we had to move it out of the caravan park we were in for everyone complained. I know it's an older van and that is fine but this one needs major work. Alex did help us out of a spot where the van we booked 6 months ago cancelled on us 5 days before we got there and there was nothing else available i thank him for that but please clean this up it needs new plates and cutlery and cooking utensils, shower, stove, solar operating and mostly the emission from exhaust

We had an amazing time in Bertha. Very easy to drive and very smooth on the great kiwi roads. Very comfortable to sleep in and our 1 year old loved it. Would recommend

We had the best time travelling with wee worzel. She is a little old and slow but thats one of the best quirks. It really slows you down to look at the insane landscape. We had 6 days with her and managed to do from queenstown up the west coast crossing through Arthurs pass and coming back via Mount cook. This was about 3/4hrs of driving a day. I would 10/10 recommend renting wee worzel.

Wee Worzel was a great little van for us. Extremely reliable across the 1500km journey of the South Island. Beds are comfortable and the interior is nice and spacious. Alex was a great host and communication was fantastic throughout the whole process.
