We just had the best adventure in "Our Dream" around NZ. Bart & Sora provided us with an easy and friendly handover, and the Van was everything we needed and everything that was advertised. All the comforts of home really, from hot showers, toilet, comfy bed, cooking, and wifi.....Best part - all the freedom camping views !! Bart & Sora are the perfect hosts. Definitely take their dream around NZ, we will be doing it again.....

Een geweldige reis gehad met de campervan van Bart. De van is niet spiksplinternieuw maar voldoet aan de eisen die nodig zijn om prettig te kamperen. Het grootste pluspunt is de communicatie met Bart. Hij is een host waar je op kunt bouwen. Hij reageert heel snel en adequaat. Hij is schappelijk in het maken van afspraken. Hij heeft ons, uiteraard tegen betaling, afgehaald bij het vliegveld en na de vakantie teruggebracht. Al met al een zeer goede ervaring met deze camper en zijn verhuurder.

It was basically good but had its ups and downs!! Starting with handover we were told that the water pump didn't switch itself off after use and that we had to turn off the power switch at the front of the motorhome every time we used it. Apparently this had also happened with the previous hirer but the owner hadn't had it fixed. We were also told the TV didn't work because a previous hirer had broken the antenna. The general cleanliness of the inside was quite average and the dirty windscreen made it difficult to see the existing chips that the owner was trying to show us. On the first night away we discovered the bath towels we'd ordered and paid for were not supplied so we had to use our own tiny hand-towel to dry 2 people. The owner said to buy new towels the next day and he would reimburse us. After a few good days on the road we woke up to the fridge not being cold and the voltage meter showing 10 volts - which basically means dead flat batteries despite driving quite a bit & it being sunny. Fortunately we were able to drive 20 kms to an auto electrician who replaced the faulty part at our expense and we were on our way again. The owner has now reimbursed us. The motorhome was easy to drive and had plenty of kitchen bench space however the toiler/shower area was very tight with no separation from shower to toilet so everything got wet. The final issue we had was the toilet flusher button would not turn off until the tank ran dry so we had to resort to using a water bottle to flush. The owner wanted us to get it looked at but we didn't have the time to be looking for a repairer and then waiting for it to be fixed. Our circumnavigation of the north island by motorhome over 3 weeks saw us visit lots of great places and being able to freedom camp meant we stayed in some beautiful locations. Our owner was good with communicating with us and he agreed we deserved some compensation for all the hassles but nothing has been forthcoming except for reimbursement of our repair costs. We also suggested a good idea would be to provide a manual covering all aspects of how to use the motorhome and where to find things as obviously handover cant cover everything and also hirers have a lot to take in. We paid a lot of money and expected the vehicle to be in proper working condition and this experience will definitely make us wary of hiring through Camplify again.

Unfortunately we had a serious problem with the vans engine. Bart was super supportive also in this case but we had to drive at reduced speed for almost 3 weeks. Camplify staff after cashing in is keep delaying a definitive answer.

Our family of 4 used Bart and Sora's motorhome for 8 days around the North Island. It was clean and tidy and well maintained and had all amenities and utensils onboard to make things homely and comfortable. Bart was super accommodating with pick up and drop offs and was always available via whatsapp to assist with any minor issues that arose during our trip. Would definitely hire Barts motorhome again!

Barts house on wheels is amazing to ride on and to live in! 6 epic days of smooth sailing around the north island. Best feature for me was the off grid perk stopping anywhere and when in camping non powered sites. Thanks to those solar panel and a dual battery we enjoyed of all the internal accessories at all times. Thanks again Bart!!

Thanks Bart for letting us rent your campervan. We had a great time testing out campervan life. Campervan came with linen, car seats and camping chairs and tables all which I didnt realise which was very convenient. Tv or internal radio at the back doesnt work due to someone else hitting the aerial off, we really missed having the radio so be sure to bring a portable speaker. Everything else was great and easy to use. Communication was fabulous & the instant booking was handy. Thanks again
