We had a wonderful holiday with the van. Had it for 16 days and it worked great. I am 6 foot 2 inches tall and had enough room to stretch out in bed at night when I moved the driver seat forward. A very comfortable sleep for my wife and me The windows have a plastic windscreen at the top that allows you to open the windows a little at night without getting rain or bugs in. The van comes fully fitted out with bedding, pots and pans, flatware, table, chairs, refrigerator and a portable stove. We stayed in unpowered sites at holiday parks most of the time so didn't need to use the toilet or set up the inside table. We used the outside table and chairs quite a bit. Great for wine and snacks at the end of the day. Barry showed us how to stow the table and chairs for easy access. Used the portable stove a little and it worked well but most of our cooking was done in the holiday park facilities. Luggage storage is a little tight but after we stowed the stuff we didn't need much under the back part of the bed we were fine. Barry was great to work with. He walked us through every thing on the van and how it works when we picked it up. He also picked us up at our hotel at the start and dropped us off at the end. The van has low clearance so not for 4 wheel drive rough roads but we had no trouble on the roads we took. The van is very easy on gas use which is really nice with the spike in gas prices. Had plenty of power for the mountain roads. We had a great rental and Barry is very easy to work with. I highly recommend renting from him.

Bazza 3 was exactly what we were after and was great value. It was great not needing to setup tents. We are both under 170cm tall and found it to be comfortable to sleep in. We developed a good system for organising our gear after a couple of days. We travelled in March and found the vehicle was not too warm to sleep in but if we had warmer spells we would have needed to open windows for ventilation to keep the van cool enough to sleep in. We then would have need a way to stop the sandflys biting us. The van drove well for a vehicle of its age and fuel consumption was reasonable. One thing to keep in mind is the fridge only runs whilst the van is on so we needed to plan around that. Most commercial campgrounds which we used sometimes have fridges. It was kitted out with what we needed to prepare meals. If we were to do the same trip again we would be happy to use Bazza 3 again. Thanks Barry, you were great to deal with.

Absolutely amazing time in Bazza. We had him for 16 nights and had the best time, absolutely no problems and if we ever had a question Barry was super helpful. All you need for a trip and great value for money.

We had the best trip ever in this van! It had absolutely everything you need to explore the South Island, it was very comfortable and economical. Barry was a legend and even worked his schedule around picking us up from the airport and taking us to our accommodation after dropping the van off. We will be booking the same van when we come back!!

We hired this van for four weeks, driving over 3,000kms and had zero issues the whole time. It looks exactly like the photos and has heaps of good functionalities, including a working fridge which cools while you are driving. The host, Barry, is super friendly and clearly very experienced in van hiring. His communication was excellent, always responding very quickly to any messages. I would definitely hire from Barry again!

At first, I was a bit nervous about experiencing van life, but everything was great. I had the best road trip thanks to Barry and his well-equipped van. It was very easy to drive and had all the facilities I needed to live comfortably for three weeks. It was excellent value for money. Barry is lovely. He picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. Would definitely recommend !!!

I had a great time with Bazza No3. It came with everything I needed for a road trip around the South Island and the bed was extremely comfortable! Better than most hostels I stayed in. Would recommend!

The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. Barry was incredibly helpful and responsive, even dropping me to and from the airport which made things so easy. The van had everything you could need the bed was really comfy, and it was so economical on petrol, perfect for exploring the South Island. Barry even gave me extra blankets in case I got cold as its coming into winter. Couldnt have asked for a better setup highly recommend!
