Fantastic experience hiring this van from Marie and Mark for 12 days to explore the South Island. It was easy pick up with a direct bus from the centre of Christchurch where Marie gave us a full tour of the van and hints and tips on how the van worked. The owners have fitted out the van themselves which shows in the functionality and layout that have had lots experience of camping themselves. There was plenty of storages for bags, clothing and food. We are two 511 people so had to hunch whilst washing up, but the bed was very comfy and fit us both. We found the size of the van was perfect for being able to drive and easily park. We were also super glad we hired this van as it also covered the basics that we didnt have to source like bed linen, towels and kitchen necessities such as oil, tea, coffee, pepper and salt. If we were to come back we would certainly hire this van again!

We had a great time exploring the South Island in Maries van. Description and pictures are 100% accurate. Handover was smooth and Marie is always available for questions and support! We would definitely rent it again!

My partner and I absolutely loved the M&M Campervan! We spent 3 weeks travelling around South Island New Zealand and it felt like home. It has everything you need, and we appreciated the homely touches that Marie adds to it. It's very comfortable, easy to drive and everything in the van is easy to use. We also loved the bed - for a simple mattress, it was super comfortable!! Especially for two people with bad backs Also lots of great storage and the layout is great! We especially appreciated the kitchen being inside on the rainy days! The solar was amazing and we had no issues with power when freedom camping. Thank you again Marie and Mark for sharing your van with us, we had the best time

The van was snug but perfect - well-equipped, easy to drive and cosy at night. Marie has thought of everything to make travelling in your own shell convenient - from little tupperwares to store leftovers to shopping bags for stocking up on groceries. There are usb ports to charge your phones, lots of storage for clothes and toiletries, and the bedding was surprisingly comfortable, a great relief! Really good value, would definitely recommend

The communication with Marie was super smooth and easy. The campervan lived up to our expectations and beyond - it was so cosy and convenient because of all the utensils, cleaning and food items (coffee, tea, spices, oil, milk) that were included. Marie even bought us a plant-based milk because of our diets. We would definitely recommend and rent again if we are back in NZ!

Dont waste your time looking for another van. This one has everything you need and more. M&M have thought of everything from the toilet to the lights to kitchen ware and multiple charging ports in numerous locations. Heated water from the sink and an exhaust fan drawing air out of the toilet box to the outside. This was our second van and I wish we could have rented this one both times. Everything is custom in the van, its not some prefab kit. The table folds for more room inside with an indefinite number of positions and the bed folds back and forth very easy. Plus a large amount of storage space under the bed and on the shelves. The privacy curtains worked well and were easy to use. M&M are very detailed oriented and they havent left one detail out of this van. I wish they would sell the thing.

We have never had a campervan holiday before and this was a great introduction for us. We wondered whether it would feel too small for us and also whether the bed would be comfortable enough. However, we adapted very quickly to the size . The bed was very comfortable and the van was designed and fitted with ample storage. It was equipped with everything that we needed and the little gas stove enabled us to cook lots of meals . The vanity sink next to the loo was great for hand and face washing and teeth brushing . We just loved the freedom of stopping off at lakes and sitting outside with a cuppa. We would be very keen to do this again in the future . We would thoroughly recommend booking one of Maries vans. We have an amazing two weeks with Marie's campervan in the South Island. It was in a really good condition, well appointed for two people, and easy to drive. Marie is very kindful and give us all instructions we need for the trip. We highly recommend! Bastien and Annie

M&M were very accommodating and had great communication. They are very nice people and easy to work with. The campervan was perfect for us! Easy to drive and operate. They really outfitted the van with so many more amenities. We especially appreciated the diesel heater on those cold nights. We really liked have a campervan that was more inconspicuous of us being tourists and did not have company advertisements all over the van, as so many of the other vans did that we encountered in our travels.
