Great motorhome for our family getaway, drives really nicely and is well set out to accommodate us and our 2 kids. Bruce is an awesome host and very helpful. Would definitely recommend Charlie to anyone wanting to get away and relax while on the road.

Was suitable for a family of 4 (would be tight with 6) though van was a bit older and had to contact Bruce after the first night for some help with appliances. Would suggest powering van on mains to chill down fridge and freezer before going off grid. Served our purposes and had a fun week away.

Campervan went well, travelled over 2,500km staying in camping grounds as well as freedom camping. Any questions we had Bruce was readily available at the other end of the phone. Nice guy. Fridge was a little complicated to sort out but got there in the end. Sadly the scooter charger wasnt there so couldnt try that out. Wasnt aware that one of the back storage compartment doors wasnt able to be locked at the time of pickup, found out subsequently, but didnt have any problems while we were on the road. Had a great time and would fully recommend this camper.

My review of Big Charlie needs to be honest, in all fairness to Bruce and the people who hire after me. It was a mix of the good and the stressful. All the previous reviews that say how wonderful Bruce is are totally correct! He is at the end of the phone to help with any issue and goes above and beyond to help his clients - he genuinely wants people to enjoy their time and we loved that we could park right on Marine Parade Napier each with a view of the ocean from our 3 beds. It was a little cramped with 3 people but we left our beds down and mostly ate out or had takeaways. Big Charlie is warm and dry and drives well, the luton bed is very comfortable with topper pad, the separate shower was lovely, and the big fridge was great once we got it working but I was disappointed to find that Charlie is older than he looks in the photos and that some things didn't work as well as they have in the previous motorhomes I've hired with Camplify - Bruce is keen for me to send him details so he can resolve them, and I can see from previous reviews that he's done so in the past, and other people have been very happy. This is my 3rd Camplify motorhome and as usual we were off grid but every camper is different - if we'd had Big Charlie in a motorcamp with power it might have been less stressful - and we had to pick up from Waipukurau rather than Hastings as Bruce had to go north to help out a friend, so I didn't get to meet him in person for the full handover, but he really is a kind and caring person ready to help in any way he can, and I really appreciated having the 'phone a friend' option always available.

Well I can honestly say I enjoyed my holiday on Wandering Charlie. Bruce is a very kind soul who was very Friendly and Courteous. Was always a phone call away and was only too happy to help and answer my queries. Overall as first timers on a Campervan we dud pretty well. Everything was available on the Campervan. I hope I get the opportunity to do this again sometime soon. Thank you so much Bruce for your kindness and allowing us to share your Wandering Charlie with us. I will never forget your kindness.
