Excellent experience. Darren was great and explained everything well and made sure we understood everything. Van ran well and didn't miss a bet. We were Freedom camping most of the time and performed well off grid. Recommend and ideal for a couple heading away.

Darren was a great host, with a thorough handover. The van was super comfortable to sleep in and very clean and tidy. We had a great time and highly recommend this van.

Our second enjoyable holiday using Darrens motor home .This time travelling 8 days from Bay of Plenty to Taranaki .Comfortable travelling in the winter temperatures .We will definitely hire again.

Martin and I had an amazing 11 days touring the North of North Island - van was immaculate, comfortable and flexible to do freedom camping or campsites. Would certainly rent this one again from Darren.

This was our first time in a campervan and we did it with a 2 and 4 year old. (Spending about 3 weeks touring/biking/hiking on the South Island). Darren's van was fantastic for our needs - it had everything that we needed. We were also doing a lot of mountain biking so the internal bike garage was AMAZING!! It was a huge plus for us. It was also brilliant having the BBQ and outdoor furniture. Campervan life with two very young children had its challenges (we are calling it the 'adventure tax'!) but we got to adventure in some fantastic places (St Arnard, the West Coast, backcountry bike missions, Wanaka, Alex, Mount Cook..) which wouldn't have been possible without a campervan. And Darren's campervan was great - very clean and tidy, well equipped, easy to drive. And Darren was a great host to communicate with.

A very enjoyable week away visiting vineyards in the Hawkes Bay and Martinborough. The motor home provided us with wonderful transport and accommodation. Appreciated the hospitality and added treats from Heather and Darren. Looking forward to hiring from them again next year.

We had a great Trip with our one year old daughter. The van is very roomy and has everything you need to travel around using campsites or do freedom camping. All was like described. We would definitely recommend Darren and would hire the van again.

This was an awesome choice. Easy to drive. Easy to setup and pack up. Darren gave Easy instructions and was great to deal with. We travelled the North Island and stopped when we felt like it and moved easily when we wanted to. I was very surprised at fuel economy too. I would recommend this motor home experience to anyone.

Holiday was great. Everything was as expected. Future users be aware there will be road user charges applied to the KM's you do in New Zealand. Would also have helped to have a second gas cylinder for the Weber as couldn't use both BBQ and Cooker at the same time if off power. Minor issues but hopefully helpful feedback. I would suggest also you leave with a full tank of water as we ran out before we could re-fill causing us to be without water overnight. Darren was a helpful owner and when we had a query he replied asap.
