This is a great van for two although a bit smaller than we are used to. It it quite old and is showing it's age. In need if a bit of tlc and perhaps some updating of equipment but it has everything you need and everything works although we didn't use the radio or TV. The bed is really comfortable with the mattress topper. Miguel was very helpful and accommodated our late arrival due to delayed flight even though he has very young children. He was very understanding when we lost a part and arranged to replace it so we didn't have to worry about it. His communication is quick and we were very impressed with him.

What I loved about the van... Its described as comfortable for two people, but the toilet takes up a lot of space and is right at leg level when two people are sleeping. Its fine if youre on your own, but youll still be living with it all the time. There is the picture of a shower in the description but there isn't portable showers provided. The kitchen area (sink and worktop) is at shoulder height. A lower worktop can be pulled out, but its held in place by a simple wedge. If youre cooking on it and accidentally knock the wedge, it can be a bit of a nuisance if I may say. The sink is so small that you cant really wash up in it. Its the size of a saucer. The sink pump is one of those cheap manual ones that splashes more water in your face than anything else. Theres no way to connect your phone to the speakers to listen to your music. Given that theres little radio signal wherever you go, youre stuck listening to your CDs on repeat. Besides, the whole dashboard is in Japanese. What I also appreciated... The old, filthy gas cooker whose knob broke after two days and for which I received no compensation. The Teflon saucepans whose bottom comes off in your food. If you find the following items, you can thank me: a grey stainless steel saucepan (yeah I didn't really like the taste of teflon), lovely ceramic plate and bowl (as I didn't really like the taste of plastic neither) and two ice packs. For next bookings, check the rear tyres, which were badly worn, and the right-hand headlight. In conclusion, it was not great value for money. There are other, nicer and cheaper vans in Christchurch.

We had an amazing experience renting Mikes car. From start to finish, everything was smooth and easy. Mike truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The car itself was fantastic very comfortable, well-maintained, smooth to drive, and honestly such a pleasure throughout the whole trip. Mike was always available, responsive, and kind, which made the entire experience stress-free. We highly recommend renting from him youll be in great hands!

Our holiday in Turbonetta was absolutely amazing in every way! Miquel has set up the van so well for travelling, with heaps of storage space and all the equipment and facilities you need. Theres heaps of room inside, and being able to stand up and walk around is a game changer! The van drives great, feels really solid and actually has some excellent fuel economy! Miquel was an amazing host, he set us up so well with the van and explained how to use everything. He was readily available via WhatsApp for any questions we had, and also gave us heaps of recommendations and advice for our trip in New Zealand. I dont think I would ever use any of the big rental Van companies after our experience with Miquel, amazing experience and value for money! Already missing our time with Turbonetta and we hope to come back one day

Miquel was incredibly communicative as we had to move our booking around and he was able to accommodate without issues. The van was exactly what we expected and had everything we needed to make our camping trip everything we hoped for. This was our first time with free camping and a self contained vehicle, everything worked and the instructions were very clear. We would do the trip all over again in a heart beat.

The van was clean and very well equipped, exactly as described. Confortable both when camping and driving. Communication with Mike was as smooth as it can get! Would definitely recommend if you are looking for comfort and still have the authentic camper van feeling !

Amazing Camper Van Experience! Our experience with Mike was fantastic! He was quick to respond to our questions and even gave us great recommendations for places to visit. The van was exactly as shown in the picturesclean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. We had no issues at all and thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Highly recommend Mike and his camper van for an unforgettable adventure in New Zealand.
