Travelling around the South Island with Gandalf the grey was great. Zuzana made everything easy and added us extra blankets for our end of April trip. Gandalf is an easy to drive, very comfortable convertible car with lots of storage. I highly recommend it !

We had a great experience renting Gandalf the Gray! Zuzana was easy to communicate with and the van pick up and drop off was easy and convenient. A van manual and all the information we needed was provided before pick up. We highly recommend Gandalf and renting from Zuzana!

We had a wonderful time traveling with Gandalf. Zuzana and Delibor were incredibly kind and always available to answer any questions. They ensured the car was fully equipped and comfortable to meet all our needs. The bed was spacious and cozy, the car drove smoothly, and there was plenty of storage. It was truly a fantastic experience Gandalf is an amazing car!

Zuzana and Dalibor were really kind and helpful and everything went smooth and perfect. This is the best way to see the South Island. Having a self-contained car like this also opens up to all the freedom camps (see CamperMate app), unlike tents and other options that are not allowed in freedom camps. 10/10 would recommend Gandalf for your South Island trip.

Gandalf is a lovely Van that has everything you need to sleep comfortably, cook meals or sit cosy inside when it raining. I travelled with it comfortably for about a week and had the best time. Gandalfs owners are super friendly and all communication was clear and easy.

I had a wonderful time making Gandalf the Grey my temporary home It was very cozy and warm and had everything I needed for a perfect trip in NZ! Zuzana and Dalibor were incredible hosts and just a text message away for any questions. They were super responsive and helpful all along. Im super lucky to have been able to use their grey baby, and when Im back I will be renting only from them!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The most amazing holiday I have ever experienced. I was able to explore New Zealand to the fullest and yet in the perfect minimalist way. The van gave me the ability to explore all the wonderful parts of the South Island and made it easy to freedoms camp, EVEN IN THE COLD! This van provides everything you need for the best road trip, the sink at the back is really easy to use, especially for someone like me whose first time in the solo van life world. Zuzana was amazing at answering any of my questions I had before and during my trip. The car is super easy to drive and the bed is comfortable. Couldnt recommend this van enough.
