Unleash your sense of adventure on the New Zealand Riverjet, or at Orakei Korako Cave and Thermal Park. You can then venture to Huka Honey Hive for your honey fix, or check out the Opepe Historic Reserve. There’s so much to see and do around Taupo. Carve up fresh powder in the winter months, or head off on some amazing walks in the warmer weather! Alternatively, head to the famous Huka Falls for an outdoor adventure or get your culture fix at Taupo Museum and Art Gallery, which is now the permanent home of the living exhibit on the New Zealand Ora.
The campsite offers both large powered and unpowered sites, with running water on offer. You can also enjoy free WiFi, hot showers, gas BBQs, and a central dump station. There’s even a children’s playground, games’ room with a pool table, air hockey and more, plus an onsite shop.
