Tell us more about Zorali and who you travelled with on this trip.
Zoraliis an Australian outdoor brand known for its sustainable and ethically made outdoor apparel and gear. We are passionate about getting people outside and exploring our greatest playground.
Our recent trip to New Zealand was an opportunity to shoot our new winter campaign amidst the stunning landscapes of this beautiful country. Accompanying me on this trip was my husband and co-founder Cam, along with two very talented content creators, who are also our best friends, which makes for many laughs!

What inspired you to choose New Zealand as your destination for a winter road trip? Any specific locations or experiences you were looking forward to?
New Zealand's South Island was an obvious choice for our winter road trip due to its breathtaking natural beauty and diverse landscapes. We were particularly excited to revisit Roys Peak in Wanaka, as that's where we got engaged 5 years ago.
Other highlights included Mount Cook, camping along Lake Pukaki, driving through the rolling hills outside Queenstown, and swimming in the icy blue waters of the Blue Pools.

How was it having two campervans as your travel companions, and do you have any highlights from your journey to share?
Having two campervans from Camplify as our travel companions was an absolute game-changer. It allowed us the freedom to go wherever inspiration led us and made the whole experience incredibly convenient. We formed a tight-knit community within our campervans, sharing meals, stories, and laughter along the way. One highlight was waking up to stunning views right outside our van doors, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature from the moment we opened our eyes.

Winter road trips often come with unique challenges and rewards. How did you prepare for the journey, and do you have any tips for fellow adventurers to make the most out of their winter adventures?
Preparing for a winter road trip required careful planning. We made sure to pack appropriate winter clothing, including insulated jackets, thermals, waterproof gear, and sturdy boots. It's crucial to check weather conditions and road closures, especially after heavy rains.
We encourage you to chat with your van hirer and ask for any recommendations. They are most familiar with their setup and the local area and can provide a wealth of information.

Lastly, what would you say to someone who's considering a winter road trip?
To anyone considering a winter road trip, we would wholeheartedly encourage you to go for it! Winter offers a unique and magical experience in nature, with fewer crowds and breathtaking landscapes transformed by snow and ice. Be prepared for a slower pace, an opportunity to disconnect, embrace the cold, and challenge yourself with a cold plunge - we dare you!
