Explore the local area starting at Paekakariki Station Museum, tucked away inside the train station where you can learn about the Maori tribe and the role the station used to play. Just a 4-minute drive down the road you will find the Paekakariki to Pukerua Bay Escarpment Track, where you can take in sweeping views of the Kapiti coastline from 215 metres above the sealine.
